Discipleship Pathway

Pathways Primer

Discipleship Pathway Primer

This series is designed with new or baby Christians in mind. These lessons are short and simple. Ideally, they can be finished within 10-30 minutes, depending on the lesson and if there
are any spiritual disciplines to practice with your disciple.

Ministry Responsibilities

Ministry Responsibilities

In His kindness and grace, God has made us members of His family and part of His church. He has not brought us into this community so that we can be consumers, only trying to see what we can get out of it for ourselves.

Baptism

Baptism

The Bible does not give specific instructions on the method
of baptism, but from different verses, we can draw an idea of
how people in Jesus' day were baptized.

A simple guide to quality time with God

Prayer

Prayer

If you want to have a relationship with someone, it requires communication. We want to develop our relationship with God, so we must talk to Him. When you talk to God, either out loud or quietly in your heart, that is called "prayer."

Quiet Time

Quiet Time

This Bible study focuses on the practice of having a quiet time—setting aside intentional, daily moments to be alone with God in prayer and Scripture. The goal is to help participants deepen their relationship with God through consistent, meaningful time in His presence.

God Is

God is... Hand Illustration

One of the simplest ways to summarize what God commands of His followers is that we trust and obey Him. Sometimes life can be difficult though, and to trust and obey God seems impossible. One way to help grow our trust in God is remembering who He is and what He has done for us.

Scripture Memory

Scripture Memory

The Bible was written to give us knowledge and
understanding to use in our everyday life. One way we can
take advantage of this wisdom is by memorizing God’s word.

Local Church

Local Church

The Biblical idea of the local church is a group of Christians
who regularly gather to hear God’s word taught and practice
God’s commands, including to baptize and take the Lord’s
supper. It is not a physical building, although that is often
how the word “church” gets used today.

Evangelism

Evangelism

Someday, when you die and go to Heaven to be with Jesus,
one thing you can never do again is talk with a lost person.
One of the most loving things you can do for a lost person is
to tell them about Jesus while you still can.

Personal Relationships

Personal Relationship

The New Testament says a lot about how we as followers of Jesus are supposed to treat each other and participate in the church. A great summary of these teachings is found in the seven Heart Attitudes.
